and will stay current until updated. Student applying for a position with Fulham and Chelsea College are required to acknowledge that they have read, understood and accept these
terms and conditions whether submitting the online form or the downloaded PDF version.
- All students enrolled at this college must attend all lectures, submit all coursework and assignments, sit examinations and work diligently and responsibly in a mature manner throughout the course in conjunction with the UKBA Tier 4 policy, BAC and ABE regulations and guidelines and College policies in force during their study period.
- All application forms must be fully completed and all accompanying information must be included (passport page, copies of your qualifications, and/ or proof of work experience and any other documents required by the College) to the Admissions department.
- If you meet the entry requirements you will be offered a Letter of Offer. If you accept the Offer you will be required to pay your first years’ fees in full to confirm your place on the course, in accordance with our regulatory obligations under our Tier 4 licence and our other accreditations.

- A receipt will be issued and an electronic Certificate of Sponsorship will be prepared to assist you make a visa application (where applicable).
- If a student refuses to pay the first year course fees any Offer will be immediately withdrawn and no sponsorship will be forthcoming.
- An Offer for a place will be specific to a particular intake and is non transferable to another date unless:
a. You were unable to obtain your Tier 4 visa due to visa processing delays
b. You were required to take an English Language programme or test
- The College reserves the right to cancel any programme with four weeks notice prior to the commencement date and will refund any fees in full which have been received.
- The College reserves the right to withdraw a module/subject, change lecturers, dates or locations at anytime, where it considers it to be unviable to run.
- International students will not be permitted to change their course of study without reapplying for a new Tier 4 visa and will require the support of the college in order to be sponsored with a new CAS. If students are permitted to change courses they will be required to pay the difference in the fees for their new course.
- Anyone supplying false information in order to gain admission to the College into the UK will be reported to the appropriate authorities and expelled from the College.
- The College reserves the right to exclude a student from the College and a programme of study at anytime (without refund) if the student does not fulfil any of the terms and conditions to include and not be restricted to: unsatisfactory attendance and/or progress, inappropriate behaviour and conduct, any criminal offence or any other circumstance the College deems unacceptable.
- The College reserves the right to expel a student at anytime if their financial obligations to the College are not fulfilled.
- The College will, at all times, comply with its obligations to report students to the UKBA for not fulfilling their visa conditions or the Accreditations requirements as set out by the BAC, or any other body which accredits or licences the College at any time.
- The College reserves the right to increase tuition fees at anytime. All fee changes will be published in advance. Paying a deposit for a course does not prevent a course increase being applied.
- Any bank charges incurred due to payments being dishonoured by the bank will result in the College making an additional charge of £30.00 to cover administration and will risk the enrolment being suspended or cancelled.
- Students who fail to meet their required study hours or do not make acceptable progress on their course will not be sponsored by the College for re-enrolment.
- Students who require sponsorship in order to remain on their course and who meet the requirements for continued sponsorship are required to pay the new course fees. Failure to do so may lead to withdrawal of the sponsorship and expulsion from the course of study.
- Students on a student visa are required to study 15 hours per week, excluding all breaks. Students are required to register their attendance on the biometric units and on the attendance register. Class attendance will also record attendance at all classes. Students are responsible for recording their attendance at all times.
- All visa students MUST be able to meet all their class and study schedule commitments.
- All timetables are issued to students in advance and the College reserves the right to change the timetable as required for legal, health and safety or for any other reason it feels appropriate.
- All students are required to comply with ABE’s exam regulations and register for exams in order to show progress and comply with their Tier 4 visa. It is a student’s responsibility to pay all exam fees direct to ABE and maintain their membership of the awarding body on an annual basis after completing 12 months of study.
- The College reserves the right to close the College at anytime, at short notice, in accordance with its legal obligations and the needs of the business for maintenance or staff training or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Students must comply with the College’s IT policy to ensure IT resources are used in a proper and appropriate manner for study purposes. A full copy of the IT policy is provided in the College’s student handbook
- Students are not permitted to use mobile telephones whilst on the College premises
- All International visa students are required to attend a compulsory Induction Meeting at the College prior to their course start date. Students are not permitted to travel to the UK more than 10 days prior to their course start date, as defined by the UKBA and BAC (subject to change).
- The College reserves the right to charge 10% per annum interest on overdue fees or monies owed..
- It is students’ responsibility to find their own accommodation. The College can provide a list of accommodation options if required.
- Students are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a manner which demonstrates respect for the College and its staff, fellow students and property. Breaches of the student code of conduct can amount to gross misconduct, which may lead to expulsion.
- Liability of the College for losses arising from their negligence (except in the case of liability for death or personal injury), breach of contract or otherwise will be limited to the full amounts paid by the relevant student. Except in the case of liability for death or personal injury, the College will have no liability for indirect or consequential loss or damage.
Course Fee Refund Policy
- In the event of a Student Visa Refusal, the College, reserves the right to ask for a review of the visa decision, and/or at its discretion, may refund part of the fees paid by the student. A minimum administration charge of £300 will be made in any event.
- Refund requests will only be considered upon presentation of the ‘Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002 Refusal of an Entry Clearance or Certificate of Entitlement to the Right of Abode’ and return of original sponsorship or enrolment documentation to the College. Without documentary originals, no refund, or part refund, will be considered. Refund claims will only be considered if these documents are presented within 3 months of the refusal notice date. Your refund request must be made in writing to the Director.
- Refunds will be paid 6 weeks after receipt of the abovementioned documentation.
- Refunds will NOT be considered if the documentation used in the visa application has been deemed to be false in anyway or the documents put forward to the College in order to gain sponsorship have been deemed to be misleading but were taken in good faith as being correct.
- The College reserves the right to reclaim any expenses incurred on the application including couriers, postage charges, membership fees etc.
- Where credit or other cards are used to pay in part/or whole, a fee will be retained according to the cardholders fee-tariff.
- Where students have begun their studies or continued their studies while waiting for a visa decision, no refund will be payable.
- Once the student visa is approved, refunds will NOT be given under any circumstances, regardless of whether a student is unable to take up the course or continue for any reason. Candidates will be reported immediately to the UKBA.
- In the event of ‘Withdrawal’ before a Student Visa decision - Refunds will NOT be given under any circumstances, regardless of whether a student is unable to take up the course or continue for any reason. Candidates will be reported immediately to the UKBA.
- Students are unable to claim interest or costs as part of a refund request.
- All refunds are in GBP, irrespective of the exchange rate and net of any bank fees, if applicable.
- The College reserves the right to change or amend any refund procedures at their discretion, at anytime and without notice. All refunds are subject to approval and discretion of the Director whose decision is final.
- The College will not be liable for any refund of paid tuition fees if courses are discontinued, amended or cancelled due to reasons pertaining to the external examining body associated with or responsible for the course.
- Refunds will not be paid to a third party unless we have received explicit authorisation from the applicant to do so. Authorities must be provided in writing and have an original signature. Email requests will not be acceptable. The letter must state the full details of the third party and give permission for fees to be refunded to the third party and include details of where the payment is to be sent.
- All amounts quoted in all College material includes VAT (where appropriate).
- Funds received but not utilised or refunded in accordance with these T&Cs will be forfeited to the College after 90 days.
English Language
International students are required to demonstrate they have achieved a certain level of English language in order to study a course at the College. All students, where English is not considered their first language, will be asked to provide an IELTS certificate which shows a score of 5.5 or higher, or the equivalent score via an acceptable English Language Test provider. An Offer will not be made to any student if they are unable to provide an IELTS certificate (or equivalent via an accepted provider) with the specified minimum score. We reserve the right to request further evidence of English Language ability as specified by the BAC or the UKBA. On arrival students will also be required to undertake an English Language test to further demonstrate their ability to undertake the course. Should a student fail a test on arrival at the College, the College reserves the right to move the student to a lesser qualification, which may require them to apply for a new visa.
Study Materials
All materials are provided and remain the copyright of the Association of Business Executives (ABE), England, UK. All materials will be provided in digital format for each 12 months of study. The material will be supplied by the College on ABE’s behalf. The cost of the material is included in the College’s yearly course fee. During the period of enrolment, additional ABE material will be accessible direct to the student in digital format, through ABE’s website at abeuk.com and the College’s own on-line learning platform.

The College is registered as a Data Controller in the UK with the Office of the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act 1998. By visiting our website or contacting us in any way you agree to our privacy policy as set out below or as updated on our website. When we update our policy, you will automatically accept the changes if you continue to visit our website or continue to communicate with us.
Personal Data When you submit an enquiry or complete our online application form we collect your personal data. To process your enquiries we will collect
your name, nationality, contact phone number, email address, date of birth, postal address, country and details of the course you require information on, amongst other
things.
To process enrolments, we require the above information and will also request, details of your qualifications, work history, gender, passport and visa copies and medical
information if it impacts on your ability to study resulting in the College needing to provide special learning arrangements for you. We will also request credit/debit card
details if paying by a bank card.
The College may use your email address, postal or telephone contact numbers to provide you with updates about our courses and services. If you do not wish to be
contacted, please use the opt-out facility that is provided on each communication. You can also contact us in writing confirming how you want us to share your data
or requesting us to remove your data (if required). Contact details are shown below.
Students who are enrolled at the College are unable to opt-out of communications which are compulsory for the course, learning or are regulatory updates provided to
remind students of their responsibilities, membership information or exam results during their enrolment. Information will only be shared where we need to perform our
legal or statutory obligations and exercise our rights under agreements made to you. We may also need to disclose your personal data to third parties when we, in our
sole discretion, believe it necessary to comply with the law, enforce our agreements or this privacy policy, or in connection with a sale of transfer of the college’s business.
